Prayers for Peace and Unity

March 21 @ 6:15 pm - 8:00 pm

A gathering of people from all faiths for a prayer of peace.

Tuesday, March 21, 2017, Civic Square (in front of City Hall). Gathering at 6:15 p.m. Program at 6:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

You, your friends and family, faith community, congregation and/or organization are invited to participate with fellow citizens of Saskatoon in a local symbol of unity held on The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. This Prayer of Peace will help to serve as an example to the Saskatoon Community and the World that people of faith, while having differences in beliefs, can show solidarity in values of love, acceptance, and inclusion.

Please share this information with your faith community through bulletins, web-sites, social media, etc. It would be wonderful to see several hundred citizens of Saskatoon at this event.

Organized by Interfaith Connections Saskatoon, a member of The Canadian Interfaith Conversation.
For more information contact Morgan Edwards, (306) 244-5577. Planning Committee Members: Rev. Colin Clay, Darren Dahl, Morgan Edwards, Noman Hassan, Nasrullah Khan, D’Arcy Mann, Alisha Pomazon, Mumtaz Naseeb, Chris Sicotte, Imam Ilyas Sidyot
