The Esther Call with Georgian & Winnie Banov
February 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 amFree
Even though she lived during perilous times, the Bible makes it clear that Esther was placed in a position of influence and incredible favor “for such a time as this.“
In an effort to save her people from genocide, Esther risked her life by approaching the King uninvited. But the smitten King was pleased to see his beautiful Queen, “What do you want my beloved Esther? What is your request? Even if it’s half of the kingdom, I will give it to you.”
This is a picture of Christ and His bride, and, the power of intercession.
Just as Esther boldly agreed to play her role in God’s plan to save her people, today we too have been called to do our part in blocking the enemy’s plot against God’s people. Even though we may feel vulnerable in the midst of threatening circumstances, we have an intimate audience with the King! The Song of Solomon unveils the mystery of Christ who is ravished by His love for His bride. We have found favor in His eyes and we have His ear; He not only hears and responds when we pray, He opens our hearts to get involved with His plans of faith and hope, and to lead us in joyful triumphant procession.
In the end, the Jewish people were miraculously spared from annihilation and celebrated with great joy and feasting. The Message Bible says, “the city of Susa exploded with joy… it was all sunshine and laughter…” (see Esther 8:16-17 MSG).
The world may seem to be spinning out of control and darkness encroaching all around us, in actuality, the stage is being set for some of the most significant days in Church history. We are about to enter the Church’s finest hour displaying the power of God and reaping the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen.
